Assalamualaikum warrahmatullahi wabarakatuh..
Hallo :)) My name is Tria Yolandita, I am a student who currently studying in UMSU. I majored in English Education at UMSU. On this blog I will tell you about the reasons I choose to become a teacher.
Before, I've written this in my previous blog posts. what I wrote earlier was in Indonesian and I wrote this again in the English version.
Check it out
Teachers are educators. In a broader sense, everyone who teaches a new thing can also be considered a teacher. In fact, many say that experience is also one of the best teachers.
As we know today, when we talk about teachers there must always be a link between salary discussions. Well, what we know together is that teachers in Indonesia are not particularly good for honorary teachers. We often hear the expression "do not want to be a teacher, so a teacher is poor! Being a teacher is hard to get rich." Statements like these are common, even from people close to you would say such words often, and I would release a statement like these myself.
I have learned in a little way the joys of being teachers. Not only do I have a family with a background teacher but I also have teachers at school, courses, college and elsewhere. Of course I know that being a teacher has a tremendous responsibility of any other profession, as teachers have to do with the fate of the people or the generation that follows the nation. Even a teacher's responsibility is not only in the world but also in the afterlife. hmmm :))
So Why Do I To be A Teacher?
I want to be a teacher, of course I don't prioritize salary. Because I don't think that income comes just from a basic salary, what matters most is my creativity or mindset that can innovate myself so that I can earn a better income than just my salary as a teacher.
I want to be a teacher because I know that teachers are a very noble and clearly rewarding work, because if I teach freely then what I teach will come to my students and become something of a living gift to them. And I certainly hope that someday the useful science I teach will become a charitable jariyah.
I want to be a teacher because of a teacher as a reject to the nation's progress. As my teacher put it, "no teacher no doctor, no teacher no pilot, no teacher no President." Teachers are the printers of the generations that will lead this country. Doctor, pilot, the President is all thanks to a teacher, because without a teacher there would be no shortage of professionals in any field.
And I wanted to be a teacher because I realized that someday I would be a parent, where parents play a vital role in their children. If I can't be an international professional teacher at least I can supply my children later with the science I've got on my education. As the old saying goes, "mother is the ultimate madrassa for her children."
Never be afraid to be a teacher!
Maybe that's enough. If there is any forgiveness please forgive me and I said thank you:)
